GHANA: GURU:THE DREAM WAS TO BE A FOOTBALL

Guru the sensational hiplife artist in Ghana that is known for a lot of hit songs like lapaz toyota,boys abr3 and the latest song featuring the movie star lilwin and has received 8 nominations at this years Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, was interviewed on hanging out with KOD. Guru told Ghanaians  about what his dream was when he was growing up and how the journey has been so far.
lt was an interview full of excitement when the host of the show KOD asked Guru a question about what his dream was when he was growing up.

KOD: Was it your dream to become a musician from childhood?
GURU:No!!! My dream was to be a footballer
The host of the show who startled by the answer given to him by Guru asked more questions for details. Guru went on to explain about how he was in the same school with Inkoom and was playing with Inkoom on the same field.He said:
I am an old student of Apam secondary school l use to play the same school team with Inkoom,at then the dream was to be a footballer but l came to realize that Inkoom and the other guys l was playing with, were all on school scholarship excluding me,l was very hurt by that and there was l decided not play for the school anymore,and here was a switch of talent.
He was then asked by the host of the show  where did the dream of being a musician came into play.
KOD:What drove you into becoming a musician
GURU:There was one night when l was asked to do a freestyle by a senior in school,l tried my best to do something,The senior loved it and asked me to keep it up and it motivated me to go after the dream of becoming a musician.
The interview was exciting  with a lot of questions when asked by the host where does the hiplife musician get his inspirational words from. Guru said:
One of the things that inspires my lyrics is the church,l listen to the pastor attentively when l go to church and l get some hit songs from his teachings.
