Dancehall Queen Kaakie has given notice. She has given notice that she is currently focusing on preparations towards her final examinations at th School of Nursing, University of Ghana, and when she is done, she is coming back  to claim her place as the best female dancehall artiste in Ghana.
“So far as I am alive, I remain the best female dancehall artiste in Ghana and there is no competitor because the records are there to show”, she told Showbiz in a snap interview on Monday
“Almost all the songs I have released: Ewo, Too Much Toffee Pon Tongue, D.C Tun Up, Top Gal Tyme  and Kumkumcha have been hits”  Kaakie said with a lot of pride in her voice.

“I have heard people say A.K Songstress and MzVee have overtaken me but the question I  ask is, where was A.K Songstress and MzVee four years ago when I was competing  with the likes of Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale and Jupiter?”

Asked why she has been silent for some time now, Kaakie said her school work does not allow her concentrate on music now  but she will  hit the studio once she is done with schooling  in a couple of weeks.
She apologised to her fans for taking a break to concentrate on her academic work and promised to make music her first priority once she is done with schooling.
