Concerns about Ghana’s fastest rapper and award winning hip hop artiste, Sarkodie, being a braggart when it comes to his lyrics in recent times has been heeded to by the artiste who expresses guilt in response.

The rap smitten Sarkodie, accepted he was overly indicative of his successes through his lyrics with mentions of riches, cars, travels and women which he accused the nature of the work he does.

The BET Best International Act for Africa revealed on the KSM's TGIF Show that his work hovers around subjects which make up the lyrical content of songs he produces.

He said the period his fans complained about him bragging was when he actually took up the topic of riches while putting himself in the story.

“This is done everywhere and doesn’t mean I am better than others”, he told KSM assuring his fans to expect a different topic in his lyrics this year which would be mainly about his life as Sarkodie.

When asked about his desire for international fame, he said he has been studying the international hip hop terrain and hopes to fuse their beats to the domestic one so as to appeal to the market out there.

He added that he could attend international music events and take pictures with top stars but instead wants to concentrate on making his music better so that he would be looked out for wherever he is to be part of their events

Filani had won several African music awards including the Top Naija Award. She appeared on Big Brother Africa in 2012 which was her first TV appearance. Allegedly, she and rapper Prezzo another BBA housemate had a close relationship.
After returning home to Nigeria from the 2013 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, California, she complained of a headache and was rushed to hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
she was only 31years.

REASONS TO WHY MOST NIGERIANS FLY TO GHANA FOR EDUCATION

As more Nigerians continue to pour into Ghana for tertiary education, some Ghanaian educationists have said the reputation and culture of a number of Ghanaian universities are the major attractions to Nigerians studying in that country. A lecturer at the University of Ghana, Prof. Naa Adamafio and Prof. Daniel Bour of the first private university in Ghana, Valley View University (VVU), said parents’ knowledge of the serene and conducive environment which is devoid of cultism, student unionism, and insurgency were some of the factors that contributed to the large patronage. Both bared their minds during a media chat in Ghana while responding to a question on why many Nigerians now prefer to study in Ghana and pay exorbitant prices when the federal and state government have provided enough schools. Prof. Adamafio said “reputation, parents knowledge of the school, international exposure which most parents want for their children without necessarily sending them very far from home, as well as differences in culture, and the incessant strikes in Nigerian universities are majorly the reasons why Nigerian come to study in Ghana.” Emphasising that “University of Ghana, Legon, is strong in humanities and medicine but traditionally for humanities even though every university does everything these days,” the professor of biochemistry noted that “competition in Legon is driving out some of the international students as well as not having the requisite subjects from secondary school.” She further stated that Ghanaian institutions had benefitted tremendously from peaceful co-existence and reputation devoid of strikes as “International reputation matters a lot in whether or not parents will send their students to an institution.” On his own part, Prof. Bour opined that VVU which he said was known for its dress codes which are devoid of jewellery for boys and girls, make-ups, sagging of trousers and uncoordinated haircuts among others had endeared itself to the hearts of many parents who want the best for their children.

The UK based artist  CK Moran approached Jon for a collaboration on a song. As an artist Jon also showed interest and did his verse and sent it to the UK based artist, afterwards tried to get in contact with CK Morgan but had no reply. the UK based artist later on sent a voice note to Jon that his management did not like Jon Germain verse and wanted Jon Germain to revisit the verse.
Jon Germain later lost interest for the collaboration and his management asked CK Morgan to erase Jon's verse. but he went on and  placed  a not mastered and mixed song online for free download without the permission of Jon Germain. when he was contacted by Jon about putting it online he said he needs permission from no one.
